Who makes Goodness?
The clever folks behind Trilogy Natural Skincare and Ecoya Home Fragrance bought Goodness into the gal-axy, so you can get your hands on skincare that's easy on the pocket and the planet!
Where's Goodness made?
Our products were born and raised in beautiful New Zealand. We make all our products in NZ and work with some A-MAZ-ING chia seed farmers in Central America, you can read all about it here: click me!
Which products are certified organic?
Our Certified Organic Chia Seed Oil is certified by BioGro NZ. The rest of our range contains certified organic chia seed oil in their formulations and are vegan and environmentally friendly, but the products themselves are not certified organic.
Does Goodness use palm oil in its products?
While we don’t use palm oil directly, however we do have some ingredients that are derived from palm oil. We are very serious about our motto ‘Goodness for the planet’ and are aware of the issues surrounding the use of palm oil, so we make sure we only work with companies who can prove they source from RSPO certified sustainable palm oil suppliers.
Does Goodness test on animals – do any of their suppliers test on animals – do they engage with a third party to test on animal on their behalf?
No. No. And No. Goodness isn’t into animal testing at all. And we only work with suppliers and partners who also share this belief.
Are Goodness products vegan-friendly?
Goodness is vegan friendly from the inside out. We love blissful bunnies! Click here for more info around our products.
What preservative system does Goodness use?
Goodness uses two preservative ingredients: phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin. These are used in the products that need them (water and oil mixed products) at super low levels. While these ingredients aren’t natural, their inclusion protects our products against yeasts, moulds etc – making sure they’re safe for our customers.
Is the packaging recyclable?
Yep, all Goodness packaging components are recyclable. We believe in emptier landfills and clean waterways. Check with your local recycling streams to see what's accepted.
Does Goodness use plastic microbeads in any of its products?
Hell no! We’re not into those sorts of things at all. We use powdered volcanic pumice to give our Every Week Face Scrub its scrubbiness, you can read more about this here: click me!
What are the Goodness fragrances?
Our Certified Organic Chia Seed Oil is fragrance free (it’s also preservative, and colour free). The other products in the range all contain natural fragrances. We work with a perfumer who develops bespoke fragrances made from components of natural essential oils.
